Imperialism-the policy of extending the rule or authority of an empire or nation
over foreign countries, or of acquiring and holding colonies and dependencies. Militarism- a strong military spirit or policy. Alliances- a formal agreement or treaty between two or more nations to cooperate for specific purposes. Nationalism- devotion and loyalty to one's own country; patriotism. Munition- materials used in war, especially weaponsand ammunition. Propaganda poster- information, ideas, or rumors deliberately spread widely to help or harm a person, group, movement, institution, nation, etc. |
Segregation-
to separate or set apart from others or from the main body or group; isolate: Suffrage- the right to vote, especially in a political election. Trenches- Fortification . a long, narrow excavation in the ground, the earth from which is thrown up in front to serve as a shelter from enemy fire or attack. Homemaker- a person, especially a woman, who manages a home. Holding- an area of land held by lease. Muffler- a scarf or wrap worn around the neck and face for warmth Feminism– the advocacy of women’s rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men. |
